There is a radical disconnect between the facade of Islam and the reality of Islam. Even though it plays out in public for the world to see, the facade of “a religion of peace” and “we worship the same god as the Jews and the Christians” still deceives many.
The latest example of the deception just concluded in Sydney.
Do actions such as this portray a “religion of peace”? Does ISIS? Does either side in the civil war that has decimated Syria?
Do the following words from the Bible capture the essence of the god of Islam and his followers? Can the God of the Bible and the god of the Koran possibly be the same? Can Light and darkness be the same?
1John 1:5-7: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1John 2:10-11 He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not whither he goes, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
1John 3:10-11 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1John 4:20-21 If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother also.
Let us not be deceived. Let us flee hate and darkness, let us seek Light and Love!
