After you read the following article, I have a question.
My question: Would anyone be offended and get in my face if all I wanted for Christmas was that American Atheists Inc would shut their mouths?
I mean it lovingly…that they would employ some intellectual honesty, academic discipline, and the measure of faith given to them (Romans 12:3) to investigate the reality of Jesus Christ. For starters, honestly consider the radical things Jesus said of Himself in the Gospel of John. Then perhaps thoughtfully consider the testimonies of Jesus’ early followers in the Book of Acts.
I pray they find the Lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:1-7). Otherwise, Jesus will confront them in the ultimate reality of His existence and shut their mouths along with all the others who deny Him. “Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.” (Isaiah 52:13-15).
It is not Jesus’ desire to shut anyone’s mouth for He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23). It is His fervent desire that all would repent of their offenses against Him and be saved from death (Ezekiel 18:30-32, 2 Peter 3:9, John 11:21-26). Find a Bible and read the referenced passages to hear Jesus’ heart.
I’m not offended but I do wonder why you want us to shut our mouths?

I am thankful you were not offended because it was not my intent to offend. It was my intent to warn; I care enough to warn those who do not believe in the existence of God about the consequences of their choice.
If you did not believe in the Law of Gravity and went on top of your house to fly, I would urgently warn you to not step off the rooftop. Because I know what would happen – you would plummet to the ground and hurt yourself. Whether you believe in the Law of Gravity or not, the Law exists and unbelief comes with very painful and unavoidable consequences.
If you do not believe in the existence of the all-mighty, all-knowing, all-seeing Creator of the universe, you will live your life accordingly. But after you take your last breath and die, you will not be prepared to face your Creator and that comes with very painful and unavoidable consequences. Whether you believe or not that He exists does not affect His existence.
The Creator, God, has given us more evidence of His existence that we could possibly process. The Hubble telescope gives us a glimpse into the beauty and enormity of the universe. The electron microscope gives us a glimpse into the beauty and detail of the universe. The DNA of plant life, animal life, and human life tells us of a design. Every design must have a designer because it is far beyond statistical probability that these things could happen by random chance. In fact, the most rational thing a person can do is to acknowledge the existence of God and to seek to learn about Him. Such a search will take you, as it did me, to the Bible and the revelation that the Almighty desires, above all, to have a relationship with you.
Therefore, the opening line of the post was a play on words with words God spoke to a man named Isaiah, recorded in the Bible in Isaiah 52:15. I love you enough to warn you that God exists whether you believe it or not, whether you seek to know Him or not. To seek and find Him, for He will reveal Himself to you, comes with glorious consequences after you take your last breath. To not seek and not find Him comes with horrific consequences after you take your last breath.
God loves you and knows you. More than anything He wants you to know Him and love Him.
