You need not pretend to be someone you are not because Jesus knows all about you. And He loves you just the way you are! He has a plan for your life and an inheritance that are immeasurably above and beyond your wildest dreams. He wants to tell you all about it.

…ask the Lord to clamp His hand over your mouth! Oh how much trouble we get into with unbridled tongues!
James 3:1-10 says, “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity; so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”
Proverbs 10:19 says, “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.”
Pray for the Lord’s wisdom…and for His control of your tongue.

The God Who created us knows everything about us – the number of our days, the number of hairs on our heads. He knows our hearts and our minds, our thoughts and our words before we even speak them. There are no secrets from the Lord God, Maker of heaven and earth.
We might keep secrets from others (or not!) and we might be able to fool others. But we can never fool God…He knows EVERYTHING! So please do not act or talk or think like He doesn’t know, see, hear, or care. Because He does. And He want you to know Him as He knows you. You can learn about Him in the Bible.
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
Study takes time and effort; there are no shortcuts. Studying is NOT just for your pastor!
Because too few disciples are studying the Word of God, Christianity is way off track.
But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16)
Be holy…separate from the world.
Be holy..separate unto God.
Be holy…today and until the very end.
